PURPOSE: A method is provided to prevent fire accidents by counting the combustion time of each burner and automatically turning off the burners if the threshold combustion time has lapsed. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises the first step(S10,S20,S30,S40) of judging whether first to fourth burners have started a combustion; the second step(S11,S21,S31,S41) of counting the combustion time of each burner in cases where one or more burners have started a combustion; and the third step(S12,S22,S32,S42) of judging whether the combustion time counted in the second step is longer than the preset time; and the fourth step(S13,S23,S33,S43) of turning off first to fourth burners and clearing first to fourth timers by controlling burner valves, if it is judged in the third step that the combustion time is longer than the preset time.
