PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open/close communication terminal device capable of improving fashionability and design, and miniaturizing and lightening by considering the parts layout, and convenience for a user to use it. SOLUTION: When a user operates an operation part 23 of an open/close communication terminal device 1 in the state closed, a system is started in a camera photograph mode. When the user half depresses a side key 12 and gives it a photographing preparation instruction, a control unit 20 recognizes that communication terminal device 1 is closed and instruct a camera 25 to output an object image photographed continuously every predetermined time. When the camera 25 outputs the object image data photographed every predetermined time through a camera I/F26 based on consecutive photographing instructions, the control unit 20 once stores it in a buffer memory of a RAM 20b, updates the object image in a sub display part 18 every predetermined time, and displays a mirror image.
