PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal that can specify the position of a base station required for positioning and serve to reduce the communication cost caused by updating a table of the positions of base stations. SOLUTION: This invention provides a system comprising: mobile terminals each performing positioning calculations on the basis of the propagation time of a CDMA signal, storing a first table that describes the frequency channel numbers and identification numbers of a plurality of base stations, pilot PN offset of sectors each base station includes and a transmission antenna position, and performing a procedure for obtaining a transmission antenna position by cross-referencing the pilot PN offset and the transmission antenna position in the order of closer distance from the base station by referencing the first table on the basis of the identification numbers of the base stations received by the terminal; and a server to update the first table of the mobile terminal via the base stations.
