PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixer, specifically, a dual conversion receiver. SOLUTION: The mixer comprises: a first variable mutual conductance stage (A) with a first and a second terminals (37), (38), controlled by a high frequency carrier signal to feed a first signal; and a second stage (B) connected to the first terminal of the first stage. The second stage comprises a first and a second parallel connected switching means (T32), (T33) controlled by a first and a second inverse-phase control signals (in2a) and (in2b) of a first intermediate frequency IF1, respectively. The first and the second switching means are fed with approximately equal currents from polarizing means (34). The mixer further comprises a means (T36) for modulating the first signal fed from the first stage, using a third control signal (in3) of a second intermediate frequency (IF2). COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
