PURPOSE: A water tub of a washing machine is provided to improve the rigidity of the water tub by arranging vertical ribs at both sides of a damper fitting part, and to improve the reliability and the durability by preventing deformation from pressure difference with forming horizontal ribs. CONSTITUTION: A water tub of a washing machine is composed of a water tub body(31) storing washing water and having the storage part for placing a washing tub; a damper fitting part(34) arranged around the water tub body to support the water tub body; and vertical ribs(37) formed around the water tub body at both sides of the damper fitting part to reinforce the water tub body. Plural horizontal ribs(38) are formed in the upper periphery of the tub body. Deformation of the water tub is minimized by reinforcing the water tub with forming vertical ribs. |
