PURPOSE: An apparatus for informing a received signal is provided to generate an effect sound depending on a signal intensity economically and efficiently using general input/output ports included in a receiving system. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for informing a signal received by a receiving system using a satellite includes a controller, an input/output port(101), and a switch(102). The controller detects the intensity of a satellite signal depending on the current position of a satellite antenna when a user positions the satellite antenna and generates a control signal according to the detected intensity. The input/output port generates a waveform according to the control signal of the controller. The switch is ON or OFF under the control of the controller to output the waveform generated by the input/output port to a final audio output terminal.
