<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a competition system and a method for fairly holding a competition such as a fishing competition participated by a large number of persons in a wide area by use of a wide area communication network represented by the Internet. <P>SOLUTION: A user participates in the competition such as a national fishing competition by the transmission of a photographed image. A certifying specific article informed just before holding the competition must be photographed in the image for preventing illicitness, and this certifying specific article is called a real target. A registered participant is informed of the real target by e-mail from a real target providing part 13, for example, at 10 p.m. of the previous day. The image is disclosed for the other participant and a general browser by an information disclosing part 18. An objection accepting and totalizing part 19 accepts an objection from these participants on the disclosed image, and determines disqualification on the image when an objection quantity reaches a prescribed reference. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
