PURPOSE: A flywheel having multiple materials is provided to supply enough rotational inertial force, to reduce whole load and improve fuel efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A flywheel having multiple materials has a disc member(130), a flywheel mass(120) and a ring gear(110). The disc member is combined to an end of a crank shaft(150). The flywheel mass is combined to a side of the disc member. The flywheel mass contacts a surface of a clutch disc to transmit a driving force of an engine. The ring gear is combined to an outer peripheral surface of the flywheel mass and interlocked with a starter motor. The flywheel mass is made by cast molding, the ring is made of steel and the disc member is made of non ferrous metal like aluminum. A concave groove is formed to a middle portion of the flywheel mass to be separated from the disc member. Thereby, durability of the engine is improved by reducing bending load with the light flywheel.
