The started portable telephone 5 returns a specific signal (a signal including information indicating the will of using an express way) differently from a normal portable telephone. The gate 1 or 2 receiving the signal transfers various data included in the signal to a computer 3. The various data include the portable telephone number of the user, a vehicle identifier, etc., and in dividing the toll by two or more persons, include the portable telephone numbers, payment ratios (preset after starting the application) of payers of divided payment, or the like.
