<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system, a method and an apparatus for managing parking and a portable terminal and for performing management of parking time and parking fees and discount of the parking fees without using a parking ticket. <P>SOLUTION: A parking management system 10 is provided with the portable terminal 12 of a user who uses a parking lot, a use state management device 14 of a store, and a parking management device 16 for managing the parking fees and the parking time. The portable terminal has an IC chip 20 in which a member ID is stored. The use state management device has a reader/writer 26 for reading the member ID from the portable terminal in shopping and a transmitting part 30 for transmitting purchase price information to the parking management device. The parking management device has an entrance management part 46 for determining entrance time by reading the member ID from the portable terminal at entrance, a receiving part 48 for receiving the purchase price information, an exit management part 56 for determining exit time by reading the member ID from the portable terminal at exit, and a calculation part 58 at exit for calculating the parking fees based on the entrance time, the purchase price information and the exit time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
