PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to minimize the difference between the overlapping area of a panel pad and a TCP(Tape Carrier Package) output pad and the overlapping area of a neighboring pad set by forming the panel pad in the departed polygonal shape. CONSTITUTION: A gate pad(303) is formed between a gate drive IC(Integrated Circuit) and an active layer. A data pad(304) is formed between the data drive IC and the active layer. A second substrate is placed on a first substrate. The active layer is formed by the first and second substrates. The gate pad and the data pad are overlapped with a TCP output pad. Since the gate pad and the data pad are formed in the departed polygonal shape. According to the structure, the overlapping area does not change easily despite thermal expansion or slight shakiness.
