PURPOSE: A heat exchanger with an integral type receiver drier and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to simplify manufacturing process. CONSTITUTION: A receiver drier(200) includes a receiver tank(210) connected with one of header pipes through inlet pipes(221,222) and an outlet pipe(223), and having a fixing protrusion(211) formed on an inner circumferential surface thereof; an upper end cap(231) and a lower end cap(232) sealing an upper end and a lower end of the receiver tank, respectively; a drying agent assembly(240) inserted into the receiver tank; and a filter assembly(250) installed on a lower side of the drying agent assembly, and is joined to a heat exchanger by brazing. The filter assembly includes an upper cap(251) having a penetrating hole(251a) formed thereon to allow heat exchange medium to flow; a lower cap(252) joined to be connected with the upper cap; and a filter(253) interposed between the upper cap and the lower cap. The filter assembly has an upper side of the upper cap contacting with a bottom of the fixing protrusion, and the filter supported by the lower end cap to be fixed in the receiver tank.
