FRICTION CLUTCH

摘要

PURPOSE: A friction clutch is provided to transmit smaller torque value than set torque value by adjusting a position of a pressurizing wheel and to cut transmission of torque by generating slip when larger torque value is inputted. CONSTITUTION: A friction clutch has a clutch housing(1); an input shaft(2); an output shaft(3); a moving friction plate(7); a releasing spring(8); a pressurizing wheel(9); a gear structure(11); a screw(12) and a wheel housing(13). The input shaft and the output shaft are supported to a center of the clutch housing with bearings(4,5). A rotating direction of the moving friction plate is restricted by the output shaft. The moving friction plate moves back and forth along a central shaft by rotation of the output shaft. The releasing spring generates force to release transmission of torque between the input shaft and the moving friction plate. The pressurizing wheel pushes the moving friction plate toward a friction plate(6) of the input shaft. The gear structure and the screw convert rotary motion into reciprocating motion of a motor(10) and transmit the motion to the pressurizing wheel. The wheel housing restricts a moving direction of the pressurizing wheel to a tangential direction of the moving friction plate. Thereby, transmission of larger torque value than set torque value is prevented by adjusting a position of the pressurizing wheel with the motor and the gear structure.
