摘要 PURPOSE: A hot melt adhesive composition for deflection yoke is provided, which contains an ethylene acrylic acid-amorphous poly(α-olefin)-isobutylene-based rubber as a main component and is improved in the adhesive strength to metal and plastic, the heat resistance, the cold resistance, the thermal stability and the heat impact resistance. CONSTITUTION: The hot melt adhesive composition comprises 5-15 wt% of a sasol wax; 5-15 wt% of ethylene acrylic acid; 20-40 wt% of amorphous poly(α-olefin); 5-15 wt% of isobutylene-based rubber; 20-35 wt% of a flame retardant; and 25-40 wt% of an adhesion imparting resin. Preferably the flame retardant is selected from the group consisting of aluminium hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide and titanium dioxide; the adhesion imparting resin is a terpene phenol-based resin; the ethylene acrylic acid has a melt index of 5-30; the amorphous poly(α-olefin) contains 5-15 % of ethylene and 15-25 % of butene; and the isobutylene-based rubber is an isobutylene homopolymer having a molecular weight of 40,000-100,000 or a copolymer of isobutylene and other monomer(s) having a molecular weight of 300,000-500,000.
