<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the accounting management of an image file in printed matter formation. <P>SOLUTION: The image file is downloaded from an image database through a network. Printed matter information, image information and download history information are inputted to a printed matter table containing the information for a printed matter to be formed, an image table containing the information for the image file used for the formation, and a download log table containing the information of download history of the downloaded image file. Adaptation information showing whether the downloaded image file is adapted in the printed matter or not is set. The charge of the image file downloaded and adapted form the formation of the printed matter is calculated on the basis of the adaptation information obtained in reference to a table storage means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
