PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator which has magnets fixed surely to an inner circumferential surface of a yoke thereof and can suppress vibration and noise produced by a rotary apparatus having the stator in operation. SOLUTION: This stator 1 has a bottomed cylindrical yoke 2, magnets 3 having circular-arc shaped cross-sections, and a magnet holder 5 which is inserted into the yoke 2 while holding the magnets 3. The magnet holder 4 comprises two annular parts 11 and 12 provided on the bottom side and opening side of the yoke 2 respectively and four pillars 13 tying the annular parts 11 and 12 with each other. Linking grooves 21 linked with the pillars 13 longitudinally are formed in the peripheral surface of the annular part 11 at positions corresponding to the parts where the magnets 3 are held. Adhesive flows through the linking grooves 21 and the peripheral surfaces of the magnets 3 are bonded and fixed to the inner circumferential surface of the yoke 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
