PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving method of an EL display device which hardly generates luminescence unevenness and can suppress the power consumption. SOLUTION: The driving method of the EL display device performs luminescence/non-luminescence control by applying a voltage to a pixel 100 formed in the intersection area of a row electrode line 104 and a column electrode line 102. Charging capacitors C1 and C2 in the pixel 100 adjusts the application time of the voltage according to the capacitance of charging to a plurality of pixels 100 on the row electrode line 104.
