PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong life of a push-button switch by preventing occurrence of cracks caused by metal fatigue due to the repeated number of motions by arranging bridge sections at two facing corners out of four corners of a rectangle for a progressive press molding of a contact plate. SOLUTION: With the contact plate 12 of the push-button switch 10 (Fig. 1) of which a swollen section 53 (contact point) is formed by swelling a rectangular part of a spring flat plate 56 excluding 4 corner sections 52, 52, bridge sections 54, 54 are arranged at two opposite corners 52, 52 of the rectangular part for the contact plate 12 to be formed by progressive molding.
