PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work-conveying robot of arm rotation type, which is capable of readily positioning and with accuracy the guide rails that guide an elevating frame for supporting an arm mechanism. SOLUTION: The work-conveying robot of the arm rotation type, where an arm mechanism driving unit A drives the arm mechanism that consists of a front step arm B, a rear step arm C, and a hand D, in which a common column support 2 is provided for a pair of guide rails 5 that guide the elevating frame 3 supporting the front step arm B, and the bottom end of the column support 2 is fixed to a bottom plate 101 of a casing 1. The elevating frame 3 is attached to sliders 6, connected to a pair of the guide rails 5 freely slidably. The column support 2 is allowed to support a screw rod 10 freely rotatably, and a screw rod 10 is made to screw into a nut 11 attached to the elevating frame 3.
