<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the operation of an automatic phase controller. <P>SOLUTION: In the automatic phase controller for making the phase of an output signal follow the phase change of an input signal, the device is provided with a phase comparing means for comparing the phases of the input signal and the output signal and outputting a compared result signal corresponding to the compared result, a charging/discharging filter means for outputting an electric signal having a prescribed fluctuation range corresponding to the relevant compared result signal, an oscillation means for outputting the oscillation signal of a frequency corresponding to the relevant electric signal as an output signal, a feedback means for feeding the relevant output signal back to the phase comparing means, and a fluctuation range control means for controlling the fluctuation range of the electric signal, and the relevant fluctuation range control means enlarges the fluctuation range of the electric signal in the synchronous operation state of synchronizing the phases of the input signal and the output signal and reduces the relevant fluctuation range in the asynchronous operation state of not synchronizing the phases. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
