PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a height adjusting leg capable of preventing a ground surface from being scratched at the time of adjusting height and preventing an installation position of distribution equipment from being shifted. SOLUTION: The height adjusting leg provided on a bottom plate 3 in the distribution equipment such as an automatic vending machine is provided with a leg body 1 having a male screw part 1a and a rotation stop rod 1c projectingly provided on the upper end and an adjusting nut 2 having a female screw hole 2a to which the male screw part 1a of the leg body 1 is screwed. The rotation stop rod 1c of the leg body 1 is inserted into a rotation stop hole 3a provided on the bottom plate 3 so as to be freely vertically moved and not to be rotated and the adjusting nut 2 supports the lower surface of the bottom plate 3 by the upper end face. When the adjusting nut 2 is normally or reversely rotated, the adjusting nut 2 is vertically moved to the leg body 1 and the bottom plate 3 supported by the adjusting nut 2 is also vertically moved together with the adjusting nut 2.
