PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both efficiency of download control from a main server to local servers, and smoothness and quickness of delivery control from the local servers to user terminals when delivering contents information from the local servers to the user terminals. SOLUTION: The local server issues download request for the contents to the main server when the contents requested for delivering from the user terminals exists in a contents list on the main server and does not exist in a contents list on the local servers. Thus, delivery of the contents information to the user terminals and the download of the contents information to the local servers are executed simultaneously. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
