PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To withstand a high voltage by reducing the initial resistance value of a current-sensitive element while raising a peak resistance value, to improve a voltage-resistance property. SOLUTION: There are provided a first electrode foil 23, a second electrode foil 22, and a plurality of polymer current-sensing elements 21 and 21'. The plurality of polymer current sensing elements 21 and 21' are electrically connected together in series. The transient temperature difference between the two adjoining polymer current sensing elements 21 and 21' is at least 5°C. Thus, the initial resistance value is reduced while a peak resistance value is raised, to improve a voltage-resistance property. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
