PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a point-multipoint subscriber wireless communication system and a base station apparatus that can reduce the scale of the base station apparatus so as to facilitate its installation and expansion of a modulation demodulation section according to the expansion of a subscriber station apparatus. SOLUTION: A subordinate base station apparatus 3 comprising only indoor devices is connected through wireless channels to master base station apparatuses 2A, 2B each provided with modulation demodulation sections 22a to 22d and connected to a backbone network, uses in common indoor apparatus parts including the modulation and demodulation sections of the master base station apparatuses 2A, 2B, uses a point-point wireless channel to apply non-regenerative relaying to a carrier sent from the master base station apparatuses 2A, 2B and transmits the carrier to a sector whose direction is not overlapped with the wireless channel.
