PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle audio interface adaptor mounted on a head unit in the case of replacing a genuine head unit with a non-genuine head unit on market. SOLUTION: In an audio system with a genuine NAVI system for mounting on a vehicle, when the genuine head unit 1 is mounted, a microcomputer circuit 25 for generating LAN signals of particular addresses collected by a LAN signal monitor 30, transmits a LAN signal with a particular address in place of the genuine head unit 1 to act on the genuine device of other NAVI system or the like without causing any hindrance, then the removal and the replacement of the genuine head unit 1 are attained. Further, a sound output of the genuine NAVI system 2 and a sound output of a genuine TV tuner 4 can be attained. The sound of a genuine TV tuner 4 outputted from a built-in speaker 19 can be silenced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
