METHOD FOR ONLINE ADAPTATION OF PRONUNCIATION DICTIONARY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily recognize a speech by reducing a burden to check many pronunciation change systems. SOLUTION: Lexicons (SL (starting lexicon) and CL (current lexicon)) used for a recognition process, i.e., a pronunciation dictionary or lexicon are modified during the process of recognition starting with a starting lexicon (SL) and having after given numbers of steps of recognition 12 recognition related information (RRI) with respect to at least one recognition result 13 already obtained and wherein the process of recognition is then continued based on the modified lexicon (ML) as the current lexicon (CL).
