摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively detect two-dimensional position coordinates, when 2 prescribed objects are inserted simultaneously in an information input area of an optical information input device. <P>SOLUTION: When 2 prescribed objects are inserted simultaneously in an information input area, 4 two-dimensional position coordinates are calculated except for a special case. However, the prescribed object, indicating the information input area, calculates the angle of a lightθ1 from a shielded or reflected light-emitting means, determines based on the calculated angleθ1 two-dimensional position coordinates actually indicated by 2 prescribed objects from the relevant 4 two-dimensional position coordinates.
