PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a firmware updating system having high convenience for users by automatically updating, when ancillary device firmware of an ancillary device needs to be updated. SOLUTION: A network terminal device has a network terminal memory means for accommodating main device firmware linked with the ancillary device firmware, and the ancillary device has an ancillary firmware storing means for accommodating the ancillary device firmware. A main device firmware transfer means for transferring the main device firmware stored in the network terminal memory means to the main device, and an update means for updating the ancillary device firmware of the ancillary device firmware memory means to the ancillary device firmware linked with the main device firmware, when the main device firmware transfer means transfers the main device firmware to the main device, are provided.
