COCATION EXCHANGE FERRIERITE CATALYST FOR ELIMINATING NITROGEN OXIDE AND METHOD FOR ELIMINATING NITROGEN OXIDE USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: Provided are a cocation exchange ferrierite catalyst with high catalytic activity even in the presence of water in flue gas, and a method for eliminating nitrogen oxide using the same. CONSTITUTION: The catalyst contains 0.1-4.5 wt.% of a metal such as Pa, Pt, La, Ir, In and Sr and 1.0-6.0 wt.% of Co. The method comprises the step of making a gas containing nitrogen oxide or 2-20 wt.% of water react with the catalyst using non-saturated hydrocarbon(1<=C<=4) as a reducing agent at temperature of 200-800°C, while introducing the gas to a reactor at space velocity of 3,000-100,000 per hour, wherein the reducing agent is methane.
