<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a permanent magnet motor with a mW-grade output having the thermal stability, where a magnet which can realize the size reduction and output increase of the permanent magnet motor is required. <P>SOLUTION: A magnetic isotropic crystallized chilled thin belt, which has a coercive force Hci of not less than 600 kA/mm, a residual magnetization Ir of not less than 940 mT, and a maximum energy product (BH)<SB>max</SB>of not less than 135 kJ/m<SP>3</SP>after the magnetization by a pulse having a magnetizing field of 4 MA/m, is used as a starting raw material. A compound composed of the mixture of rough-pulverized powder of the thin belt and epoxy-resin binder is compressed and molded to obtain a green compact which is subjected to a heat treatment to cure the epoxy-resin to obtain a magnet. The magnet is magnetized to have poles by a magnetizing field Hm of 0.6-1.6 MA/m which is in an unsaturated magnetizing region and used for a magnet rotor or a permanent magnet field. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
