SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY DISCRIMINATING AND PROCESSING LOGISTICS INFORMATION

PURPOSE: A system and a method for automatically discriminating and processing the logistics information are provided to discriminate the logistics information at high speed, to discriminate several barcode symbols in every divided sub blocks, and to produce the volume information of the logistics with a value measured by a height sensor. CONSTITUTION: A measuring part(10) measures a height and a length of the logistics. An input part(18) inputs the measured value to a system. A logistics image storing part(22) and a search area image storing part(24) respectively store an entire image of the logistics and block or sub block images. A searching area setting part(20) sets up a size of the sub block stored in the searching image storing part(24). A discrimination candidate area examination/generation part(26) examines the sub block, sets up a weight to each sub block, and sets up a barcode searching candidate area by generating a characteristic value of the sub block. A barcode symbol discrimination part(200) searches the barcode area, and generates a barcode border area. An information interpretation part(36) interprets the logistics information matched with the barcode border area.
