PURPOSE: Door hinge installation structure for a washing machine is provided to improve the appearance around a door by restricting exposure of the door hinge in opening and closing the door, and to assemble the door with the hinge conveniently by pressing the door in a top cover in inserting a hinge shaft of the hinge to a hinge hole of the top cover. CONSTITUTION: A placing surface(23) is formed in the edge of an inlet(22) of a top cover(20), and a door(30) is positioned on the placing surface. The placing surface is recessed, and a hinge hole(25) is perforated at the side of the inlet. A hinge shaft of a hinge(40) is inserted to the hinge hole, and an insertion body of the hinge is placed in a hinge placing groove(32) of the door. Plural fitting bosses are formed in the insertion body, and fitted to assembling slots(33) of the hinge placing groove. A cover plate is formed in the insertion body to cover the upper part of the hinge placing groove, and placed in a stepped part in fitting the insertion body to the hinge placing groove. Exposure of the hinge structure is prevented, and the hinge is combined with the door easily. |
