<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a wasteful consumption of a battery of a personal digital assistant. <P>SOLUTION: In the case that a stylus 26 is inserted to a stylus holder 24 when a power source of a PDA 1 is turned on, a power supply control circuit 38 becomes a not power-supplied condition after a preparation time for not supplying a power from insertion of the stylus 26. When the power supply control circuit 38 becomes a not power-supplied condition, a power is not supplied to parts other than a CPU 30, a liquid crystal display 10, touch panel 12 and the PDA 1. Even when a power source of the PDA 1 is forgotten to be turned off by an operation of a power source switch 18, it is possible to prevent a wasteful consumption of a battery 40 because the power source of the PDA 1 is turned off at the time of inserting the stylus 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
