PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment which prevents the overlap preservation of the same advertisement information which is distributed from an advertisement distribution base station concerning communication equipment to be carried by a user. SOLUTION: In the equipment, a transmitting/receiving means 357 receives advertisement information distributed from the distribution base station 90 and advertisement identification information intrinsic to the advertisement information. The information are recorded in a recording means such as a non-volatile memory 382, etc. When the new advertisement information and its advertisement identification information are received, a collating means (an information processing means 380) collates the newly received advertisement identification information with the preceding advertisement identification information which is recorded in the recording means. When it is determined that the both kinds of advertisement identification information coincide after collation, an abandoning means (the information processing means 380) abandons the newly received advertisement information.
