PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To buy and sell content data via a network allowing easy operation of a user.

SOLUTION: A user terminal unit requires supply of buying information on buying content data to a content distributing server in Step S2. The user terminal unit allows the user to select whether or not to buy the buying content data in Step S3. The user terminal unit makes access to URL of a subordinate hierarchy of the content distributing server capable of downloading the buying content data on the basis of previously held buying information, and requires the buying content data in Step S4. The user terminal unit requires supply of information on the right to use of the acquired buying content data to the content distributing server in Step S5.
