PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize image rendering, for example, of a curved part with a small load and at high speed. SOLUTION: A parameter setting unit 33 sets a DDA (digital differential analyzer) parameter (such as an initial value, an inclination value). A DDA unit 34 performs linear interpolation calculation by DDA processing using the DDA parameter. The value obtained through the DDA processing by the DDA unit 34 is fed back to a control logic 32. The control logic 32 inputs the value fed back from the DDA unit 34 in the parameter setting unit. The parameter setting unit 33 resets the DDA parameter by defining a (y) coordinate value obtained in a first DDA processing as an inclination value in a second DDA processing. Then, nonlinear interpolation is realized by performing interpolation calculation using the reset DDA parameter in the DDA unit 34. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
