PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a manufacturing cost of a shaft supporting element. SOLUTION: A cylindrical shaft supporting element 25 supporting a rotary shaft is provided at a center of a rotor body 21 of a rotor of an outer-rotor type motor. The shaft supporting element 25 is composed of a large number of magnetic steel sheets 30 which are laminated and caulked together to be unified. The shaft supporting element 25 manufactured as described above can reduce its material cots and machining cost and hence can reduce a manufacturing cost in comparison with a shaft supporting element manufactured by forging.
