PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parallel A/D converter in which circuit scale can be reduced while keeping high conversion accuracy within the voltage range of high input frequency. SOLUTION: When an analog input signal Vin has a feature of EYE pattern, a reference voltage generating circuit 21 outputs (m) ((m) is an integer of≥2) reference voltages having different voltage values respectively corresponding to the bit accuracy of a digital code Dout'. Besides, (n) ((n) is an integer smaller than (m)) comparators compare any one of (n) reference voltages selected on the basis of the input frequency of the voltage level of the analog input signal out of (m) reference voltages with the analog input signal Vin.
