GAIN BOOST OPERATIONAL AMPLIFIER CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve driving capability of a gain boost operational amplifier circuit with its circuitry size kept small and without large increase in pausing electrical power consumption. SOLUTION: Such a configuration is adopted that there are provided an input amplifier stage 1, an output stage 2 coupled to an output of the input amplifier stage 1, an input stage bias current source 3 for supplying a bias current to the input amplifier stage 1, and a driving capability amplifier section 4 for varying a control voltage of the input stage bias current source 3 in a direction to increase a bias current thereof according to variation in an output of the input amplifier stage 1.
