PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic head device which can accurately position a magnetic head on a mounting board to hold it. SOLUTION: The mounting board for mounting the magnetic head on equipment and a pair of head-holding parts for holding the magnetic head are formed into a single piece by a steel plate. Each end of the head-holding parts is provided with a clicking part, and the clicking part is bent and made to contact with the edge of the magnetic head to fix. By this, accuracy in positioning is improved, and the magnetic head and the mounting board are fixed with projection. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
