PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the safety of a vehicle traveling at an interaction with bad visibility. SOLUTION: A vehicle traveling support system installed at an intersection without a traffic light, is provided with detection sensors 1a and 1b for detecting the state of a vehicle traveling on each adjacent route that communicates with the intersection, sensor image processing part 2a for processing the image data of the vehicle detected by the detection sensors, a control and management processing part 3a for judging the existence/nonexistence of vehicles traveling on both routes from the processed data of the sensor image processing means and deciding appropriate traveling support information in accordance with the judgement contents to output the appropriate traveling support information, and a vehicle support information display device 4 for displaying the traveling support information decided by the control and management processing part 3a so that the drivers of the both vehicles can see the traveling support information.
