UNIT FOR FOLDING OUTSIDE MIRROR OF VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A folding unit for an outside mirror of a vehicle is provided to fold the outside mirror manually or automatically by converting into automatic or manual mode actively, and to extend the life span by preventing wear between the motor and the gear, and noise or vibration with assembling a protrusion and a groove through a spring. CONSTITUTION: A folding unit for an outside mirror is composed of a motor(104) integrally forming a worm in a shaft and outputting rotational force to fold the outside mirror; a deceleration gear unit(105) decelerating rotational speed from the motor with engaging plural gears; a rotary plate(200) engaged with the deceleration gear and rotated by rotational force from the deceleration gear unit; a base part(210) fixing the rotary plate by a rotating shaft and folding the outside mirror manually; and a spring part(220) fixing the rotary plate in contacting to the base part. Vibration and noise are reduced, and the life span is extended by preventing wear between the motor and the gear with folding manually and automatically.
