PURPOSE: Provided is a preparation method of ultrafine and high density dielectric ceramics at low temperature by adding rare earth oxide and Cu3TiO4 to BaTiO3 and sintering in an oxygen atmosphere. CONSTITUTION: The preparation method is as follows: wet ball-milling raw material powders(>99.9% of purity), BaTiO3, Cu3TiO4 and RE2O3, for a slurry of BaTiO3 + xCu3TiO4 + yRE2O3, where 0.00< x <=0.05, 0.00< y <=0.05, and Re is at least one rare earth element selected from the group consisting of La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, etc.; drying and calcining at 900-1100deg.C I for 0.5-2hrs. in air; forming and sintering at 1100deg.C in O2 atmosphere. the resultant BaTiO3-based dielectric ceramics have 90-100nm of diameter and 5.2-5.8g/cm¬3 of density.
