PURPOSE: A method for correcting image non-uniformity of a thermal imaging apparatus is provided to prevent blurring and fade-out of a still image by appropriately performing an SBNUC and an RTBNUC. CONSTITUTION: A control part periodically compares an input frame with a frame stored in a memory(22). The control part judges whether a difference between the frames exists(24). If exists, the control part transmits a control signal to a signal processor to perform an SBNUC(Scene Based Non-Uniformity Correction)(36). If not, the control part increases a continuous counter value by 1 notifying that the same frame is input(26). If the continuous counter value exceeds a reference value, the control part transmits a control signal to the signal processor to perform an RTBNUC(Reference Temperature Based Non-Uniformity Correction)(28-30). The continuous counter value is initialized(32). It is judged whether power is turned off(34).
