PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein a seat is made movable to the front by releasing a lock state of an upper rail in a lower rail when a seat back is reclined to the front for a walk-in, a hook member for detecting lock and unlock as a mechanism for this is supported by a bracket sliding along a top face of the upper rail, but a space for sliding the bracket in front and rear directions becomes large to restrict mounting positions of other members. SOLUTION: A rotating bracket 18 is rotatably supported on a side part of a lower arm 3 fixed to the upper rail 2. An operating lever 20 for operating a lock mechanism is fixed to a rotating pin 17 for supporting the rotating bracket 18. A cable 15 is coupled with the rotating bracket 18, the hook member 22 is pivotally supported on a side part of the upper arm 3, and a detection member 29 is rotatably supported by the upper arm 3. A projecting part 25 of the hook member 22 is made engageable/detachable with/from a recessed part 31 of the rotating bracket 18. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
