The outlet comprises a series of channels (6, 8, 9, 10). Its inlet (6) is spaced just ahead of the nip plane. It continues down (8) to an extended bore (9) at right angles, all in the radial plane (X). Oil from the roller (1) leaves via the axial outlet channel (10). In the first channel there is a flow control component; this is heavy, seated and gravity-operated. It may be positioned in its cavity. A variant based on the foregoing principles is described, in which oil outlet channels in the solid, stationary support axis, remove oil both before and after hydraulic roller supports mounted in the axle beam, located internally with respect to the roller.
|
