A method for decoding discrete-time digital spread spectrum-coded decoder-input signals consisting of a real input signal and an imaginary input signal. The decoding on one side results on one side, by addition of a first product from the real-input signal (13) and the real-code/key signal (17) and a second product from the imaginary input signal (14) and imaginary-code/key signal (18) to a real-output signal (15) in a first data path (6), and on the other side by subtraction of a real-input signal (13) and the imaginary-code/key signal (18) from the fourth product out of the imaginary part (14) and the real-key/code signal (17) to an imaginary output signal (19) in a second data path (10) of the computer drive of a processor. The real-code/key signal (17) and the imaginary-code/key signal is passed to the decoder (0) from a key-code signal generator (1) as a decoder code/key signal synchronously with the decoder input signal and is directly prepared via a decoder control logic (2) belonging to the decoder (0). An Independent claim is given for an arrangement for decoding discrete time spread spectrum coded decoder input signals.
