Pigmented gel based on lipids contains a combination of 0.1-20 wt.% oil-soluble alkylcellulose (I) with linear or branched, preferably 1-10 carbon (C) alkyl groups, 0.1-20 wt.% alkylgalactomannan polysaccharide (II) with preferably 1-10 C alkyl groups and 0.1-30 wt.% salt (III) of a long-chain, preferably 16-24 C fatty acid and a fatty acid-amidoalkyl-dialkylamine. Independent claims are included for: (1) Colored pencils with a lead of the gel and wood, wood substitute or plastics sheath; (2) Colored pencils with a lead of the gel inserted or cast in a propelling pencil mechanism; (3) Pencil production by melting the gel, casting it into the sheath parison and conversion to a pencil; (4) Pencil production by extruding the gel to pieces of pencil lead, bonding in grooved wood (substitute) or plastics boards and conversion to a pencil; (5) Pencil production by melting the gel, casting in a mold onto a pencil lead holder of a propelling mechanism and insertion in the propelling mechanism of a propelling pencil after cooling and removal from the mold; (6) Pencil production by melting the gel, casting in a mold and insertion into the lead holder of a propelling mechanism of a propelling pencil after cooling.
