<p>A water clarifying system, characterized in that a tube (1) in a spiral shape are packed with particulate carriers (5) impregnated with bacteria, and foul water is introduced into said tube (1) at one end thereof and is withdrawn from the other end of said tube. The tube (1) is preferably arranged so that the central axis O-O of the spiral is vertical. The carrier (5) is preferably prepared by forming a porous fired material originated from the sludge obtained in the field where the foul water to be clarified has been collected. The system allows the clarification of foul water at a reduced cost with a simple device.</p> |
