The invention relates to a bone nail (20) which can be inserted via a plurality of sides, preferably for treating corresponding fractures in the upper arm. The bone nail can be introduced into the humerus via either the proximal side or the distal side. If the bone nail is inserted via the side of the shoulder, an adjustable blocking sleeve (10) is disposed on the bone nail (20) and is opened by means of an expanding screw (1), or in the case of a fracture on the head of the humerus an insertion part is attached and in the case of an insertion on the elbow side, the bone nail is introduced by an elbow screw (30) and is secured.
